Lara Lawman

Lara is an award winning Southwest-based director, writer and theatre maker. She is drawn to scintillating, visually explosive work which unites and confronts audiences. She aims to interrogate the human condition and explore the reasons behind our behaviours - both as individuals and as a society. Her work is recognised for both it's technical complexity and emotional impact on the audience. She is particularly interested in contemporary new writing, Shakespeare and musical theatre. She possesses extensive experience teaching, facilitating and directing young company work.​​
