Lara has over ten years experience in directing, facilitation and teaching, possessing a PGCE in Drama (Distinction).

Lara has worked as a creative practitioner or visiting director for the Theatre Royal Bath, The Rose Theatre Tewkesbury, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Bath Acting and Theatre Studio and Curtain Up Theatre School.

Lara has taught at Millfield School, Benenden School, Kingswood School, and delivered outreach programmes with Medway Green Primary School, The John Wallis Academy, Benenden Primary School, and Goudhurst Primary School.

She delivers private one-to-one LAMDA sessions (up to Grade 8) in Acting and Public Speaking. Lara has prepared winners and finalists for Bath Young Actor of the Year and the Midsomerset Festival. Lara also delivers private tutoring in GCSE/ A-Level Drama. During her time as a school teacher, over 50% of her GCSE Drama grades were Level 9.

Lara is driven to create meaningful and professional level experiences for young people, where they are able to develop their own artistic voice and reach their full potential in performance.
